Step 2: Create your first project#

  • Step 2.1: Projects help you organize, sync and share your work. Let’s open Project Manager from the ribbon.

  • Step 2.2: There are 3 types of projects. A Mine project is only visible to its owner. A Shared Private project is only visible to its owner and its members. A Shared Public project is visible to everyone.

  • Step 2.3: Create a Mine project. (1) Click +. (2) Input your project name. (3) If you don’t like the default project folder, pick your preferred folder, which should either be empty or only contain workbooks you will use for the project. (4) Click Save.

  • Step 2.4: Save an Excel workbook to the project folder, which can be opened here in Project Manager. Alternatively, you can move an existing workbook into the folder.
